Rangers are in talks over a deal for Sassuolo and Albania attacking midfielder Nedim Bajrami.
The Ibrox side are on the hunt for a new option in the ‘number ten’ role as Todd Cantwell agrees a transfer to Blackburn Rovers.The wantaway playmaker has opened a space in the Rangers squad and now the Ibrox side are targeting Euro 2024 star Bajrami to fill the void.
With Friday’s transfer deadline fast approaching, Rangers will now be working overtime to complete the deal after news of the interest broke in Albania.
But the playmaker is expected to be one of as many as four transfers into Ibrox over the next 48 number there are several outlets now covering Rangers’ interest in Nedim Bajrami, the news was broken by Albanian outlet Sport Mania.
The report claims that Rangers have struck a loan-to-buy for the Sassuolo midfielder, who suffered relegation following a €6m (£5m) move to the now Serie B side last summer.
