Tony Bloom urged to seek out Rangers investment over Hearts as £10m WOULD bring Ibrox board to the table
Bloom’s sports analysis company Starlizard are in talks over an investment in the Jambos
Tony Bloom’s sports analysis company Starlizard should be looking to invest in Rangers over Hearts.
That is according to Jim Duffy with the Brighton owner is in talks with the Jambos over a proposed £10m deal that would see the based Tynecastle club adopt Bloom’s sport analysis company for player recruitment. As part of the proposed investment, Bloom could seek to gain a minority stake in the capital club within the next two years.
Foundation of Hearts members would need to give the proposal the green light to go ahead – but former Hibs and Dundee boss reckons that it’s another Scottish Premiership club that the English Premier League supremo should be looking at. The Light Blues are searching for investment with changes underway at the top level of the club.

John Bennett has stepped down as chairman with former director John Gilligan stepping into the role on a temporary basis. The club are also still searching for a new CEO after James Bisgrove left for the Saudi Pro League earlier this year.
And Duffy told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard that Bloom’s company should “look at” Rangers: “I don’t get the Tony Bloom thing at Hearts; they are going to put £10m in and deal with the recruitment.
