Rangers are in Europa League action tonight, welcoming Lyon to Ibrox for the second game of their campaign.

On the back of his new contract, could this be Dujon Sterling’s first start at right-back of the season? Clement has stated that James Tavernier will be rotated at some point and it would make sense to give the captain a rest in a game that will be very demanding defensively.
Mohamed Diomande should come back into the centre of midfield alongside Connor Barron with Tom Lawrence, who scored another winner at the weekend in a win over Hibs.
Cyriel Dessers undoubtedly comes back to lead the line with Nedim Bajrami, who impressed last week against Malmo, supporting him off of the left-hand side.

Philippe Clement will insist that he doesn’t have a strongest line-up and that each team is picked on its own merits depending on the opposition and the training. This side almost picks itself, though, and it doesn’t feel like a night for curveballs or chances.
Jefte missed out in Malmo and will return to the European selection. The rest of that defensive unit – including captain James Tavernier – should start as well. Another clean sheet would be a notable achievement.
Ahead of them, the Connor Barron and Mohamed Diomande pairing is the best Clement has. Tom Lawrence deserves to start at No.10 on form and that decision is made easier by the issues on the left while Nedim Bajrami is required to fill in.
On the right, Vaclav Cerny needs a performance amid questions over his place.
Cyriel Dessers will lead the line. These Euro nights can do so much for a player in terms of confidence and standing. Dessers must seize that moment at Ibrox.
