In response, McCoist said: “You know the drill lads – I’ll do what I’m told! To be fair, I could do with losing a stone and a half.”
Further pushed on whether there is any substance to the rumours by Gabby Agbonlahor, McCoist remained coy but did not rule it out.
The Rangers legend has previously turned down I’m A Celeb on two occasions – in 2019 and 2022.
Agbonlahor prodded: “The jungle – yes or no?” McCoist simply responded: “I don’t know.”
