Rangers rocked by double injury blow in further insult after painful Kilmarnock defeat
You would think that Rangers manager Philippe Clement has already experienced enough misery for one weekend as his side capitulated at Kilmarnock.
The Gers blew their chance to cut the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a confidence-sapping 1-0 defeat at Rugby Park which will take some time to get over.
With the Rangers support on the precipice of turning on Philippe Clement and the club now six points off the top two in third place, things can still very much get worse for Rangers this season.
And as if to add fresh insult, a disastrous weekend in Ayrshire has been capped off by two fresh injury problems in Glasgow.

Dujon Sterling absent from Kilmarnock defeat
Heading into the Scottish Premiership clash with Kilmarnock, Rangers fans would’ve noticed the absence of Dujon Sterling from the match day squad.
The versatile defender, 24, has struggled for fitness all season long and was a surprise absentee as the Gers prepared to line up in Ayrshire.
Speaking ahead of the game, the chatter in the Sky Sports studio was that Dujon Sterling was absent due to a slight knock but the pundits didn’t expand on the right-back’s situation.
Dujon Sterling has made only three starts this season with Philippe Clement claiming the defender needs to improve his fitness upon the signing of that new deal.

“Dujon showed several good things last season, this season,” said Clement. “For me last season more than this season.
“He’s struggled a bit with his fitness so we need to get him better in that way.
“But he deserves his new contract.
“We believe a lot in his qualities for the future and he showed it also in different positions, that he is ready to fight for the club, for the squad.
“So it’s important to have those kind of players in the club for the future.”
Rangers wait on update on crocked defender
Rangers are also sweating on the fitness of centre-back Robin Propper after the Dutchman went off in the Gers 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock.
The defender tried to continue after appearing to strain his calf but was eventually substituted off for Leon Balogun in the 63rd minute before the Ibrox side conceded a late winner.
With defensive partner John Souttar subject to intense criticism for his role in the Killie winner, Propper’s injury has somewhat gone under the radar.
But as Rangers prepare to face FCSB in the Europa League at Ibrox this week, we expect an update on the fitness of Robin Propper closer to the match.
The Dutchman is considered a key player at Rangers and any injury issue will heap the pressure on Leon Balogun and John Souttar this season.
Rangers already have a number of injury issues in the first-team squad with Ridvan Yilmaz, Danilo, Oscar Cortes and Rabbi Matondo all some way off making a tangible impact on the team.
