Aston Villa is undertaking a major redevelopment of its historic Villa Park stadium, aiming to increase the capacity to over 50,000 and transform the venue into a multi-purpose community hub. The project, led by architecture firm Grimshaw alongside Trivandi, is part of the club’s strategy to modernize its facilities and enhance fan experience.
The expansion focuses on the redevelopment of the North Stand, creating new seating areas to accommodate higher attendance, especially as Villa Park prepares to serve as a venue for the UEFA Euro 2028 tournament.
