Rangers and Celtic have been mentioned in the signing unveiling at a lower league club.
Wallace Duffy was one of the players who had their contracts cancelled at Inverness CT after the League One club went into administration. He has been on the hunt for a new club since then and has signed for Strathspey Thistle. Duffy spent four years at Inverness and played in the 2023 Scottish Cup final vs Celtic.
In his youth career, he spent time at Rangers before joining the Hoops academy. He’s also turned out for St Johnstone and both clubs in Glasgow have had a mention in his signing unveiling. He’s now signed a three-year deal in the fifth tier of Scottish football.
