League Cup: Celtic will play Rangers in the final.
Premier Sports has confirmed the kick-off time for next month’s League Cup final between Celtic and Rangers.
The game, to be played at Hampden Park on Sunday, December 15, will get underway at 3.30pm.
It will be another Old Firm final just seven months on from last season’s Scottish Cup showpiece that ended in a 1-0 win for the Hoops.
Both sides booked their place in the game following a weekend of semi-final action at the national stadium.
Celtic had a resounding 6-0 victory over Aberdeen on Saturday before Rangers came back from a goal down to beat Motherwell 2-1 on Sunday.
The Ibrox men are the defending League Cup holders after beating the Dons in last season’s final and will be hoping to get their hands on the trophy they have won more than any other team for the 29th time.

But they will be up against their city rivals, whom they haven’t defeated in the last six meetings and who have won the tournament seven times in the last ten years.
Celtic won the last League Cup final between the pair with a 1-0 victory in 2019 and haven’t lost a final to Rangers since 2011.
Extra significance will also be added to the game, with Brendan Rodgers’ side having the chance to overtake their rivals’ trophy count for the first time in over 80 years.
Currently, both clubs are officially on 118 major trophies each, meaning the winner will move one-ahead to 119.
