Leeds United left-back Sam Byram more than justified his place in the lineup at the weekend when he assisted for Manor Solomon during the 4-3 win.
The Whites have managed to move top of the Championship despite their recent injury crisis scuppering Daniel Farke’s hopes for naming a consistent lineup.
Suspension to Junior Firpo prior to the international break meant that Leeds faced Swansea with two full-backs ruled out, with Isaac Schmidt recovering from hernia surgery.

Byram keeping his place very well while Firpo is out
When you’re looking to maintain consistency in the Championship promotion race, you need to react to players being absent with likewise performances from those that are stepping in.
Now, there’s a contrast in attacking quality between Firpo and Byram, but the latter is more than holding his own mostly.
This performance was as good as we’ve seen from Byram for a while in a Leeds shirt and he should be taking a lot of confidence into this Wednesday’s clash with Luton.
