Rangers have repeatedly been linked with a move for Jens Hjerto-Dahl. Before the winter window opened in January, Rangers were credited with interest in signing Hjerto-Dahl from Tromso, but a move never came to fruition. After Rangers recruited Sturm Graz star Tochi Chukwuani, the Ibrox outfit had no great need to strengthen in the centre of the park.
Reports had suggested that the 20-year-old was primed to move to Danny Rohl’s side this summer, but Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack downplayed talk of a Hjerto-Dahl switch.
Now, suitors of the Norway Under-21 international Hjerto-Dahl have learned of news that could greatly change the course of his futureDays after reports emerged that the 20-year-old was merely on Rangers‘ radar, rather than being certain to join them ahead of next season, the youngster has extended his stay at the Norwegian team.
As confirmed by Tromso’s official website, Hjerto-Dahl has signed a new four-year contract with the Eliteserien club until the summer of 2029.
