- Everton transfer: Hamza Igamane ‘work done’ in double transfer push
Everton have done work on Rangers forward Hamza Igamane in the winter transfer window, Graeme Bailey says.
The TBR Football journalist has revealed that the Toffees still like the Moroccan star, who is of genuine interest to them and one to keep an eye on.
Dwight McNeil’s injury would suggest that the Blues could potentially sign a wide player too, but David Moyes would like a couple of additions before 3 February.
Speaking to Everton News (27 January), Bailey said: “Igamane is a player of real interest to a number of Premier League clubs as the window closes. Everton still like him, they have done work on him.
“It remains to be seen if they make a push. Tottenham have joined the hunt for him, but a host of clubs are now looking — he is one to really keep an eye on the final week or so of the window.

“Losing McNeil to injury points towards more of a wide player — but Moyes and the club are trying, they would like a couple in before the end of the window, although most likely loans at this point, but don’t rule anything out.”
Rangers striker Hamza Igamane perfect for Everton
Igamane would seemingly be the perfect addition at Goodison Park, considering the Merseyside outfit’s goalscoring woes and injury crisis.
While McNeil has been sidelined, Dominic Calvert-Lewin also picked up a knock in the 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday (25 January).

The England international has been the first-choice number nine this season, but it remains to be seen how long he will be out of action.
Everton are also without Armando Broja after his consistent fitness issues in the current campaign, leaving Beto as the only option at Moyes’ disposal.

The Guinean striker is the only fit natural striker in the squad, and the Goodison faithful will hope he can take advantage of the opportunities in the upcoming fixtures to finally make a mark in Merseyside.
Igamane has burst onto the scene in the Scottish Premiership this season with nine goals in his last 11 appearances.
Will the Toffees push to get the 22-year-old? Only time will tell.
In other Everton news, a transfer for Evan Ferguson could be sealed after an update from Fabrizio Romano.
