Popular Rangers pub announces ‘end of an era’ with final party before closure
The Old Quarry Bar in Rutherglen will host a special party to bid farewell and have invited punters to join them on Sunday, September 29, before they close for good.

The Old Quarry Bar in Rutherglen will trade for the final time on Thursday, October 3, leaving punters “gutted”.

In a heartfelt statement on social media, staff thanked their customers for all their support over the years.

Sharon McGlynn wrote: “It is with a broken heart I have to inform all customers that the Old Quarry Bar Rutherglen will open its doors for the last time on Thursday 3rd October.
“We want to thank everyone for all their support over the years and hope you will join us on Sunday 29th September from 4pm for a goodbye party and let us end this era with all of you.
“Thanks for all the memories and laughs, Sharon and Staff xxx”
