Rangers road to £30m Champions League bonanza becomes clear as 3 qualifying rivals revealed

Rangers now know the trio of clubs they could face to kick off their Champions League qualification campaign in the midst of a hectic summer.
Pharmaceutical tycoon Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises are inching closer to a takeover at Ibrox – with the club need of a new manager and squad overhaul.
Davide Ancelotti appears is the favourite to take over in the hot seat with Brian Priske, Steven Gerrard and Russell Martin also mentioned.

But the clock is ticking with with the Scottish Premiership side’s path to Europe’s elite qualification starting on either July 22-23 in the second round of qualifying.

Six teams will enter the league path at this stage – with spots now confirmed after the end of domestic leagues across Europe.
Rangers will be seeded for the draw, alongside Red Bull Salzburg of Austria and Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen. It means the Light Blues could face unseeded Panathinaikos, Servette and SK Brann.
