TRANSFER NEWS:Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Emre Tezgel, a promising young striker currently at Stoke City.

The 19-year-old has shown considerable potential, making his senior debut for Stoke at just 16 years old and earning a call-up to the England U20 team.

Tezgel spent the 2023–24 season on loan at MK Dons in League Two, where he scored three goals and provided three assists, contributing to the club’s playoff run. Back at Stoke, he has continued to impress, netting two goals in 17 appearances across all competitions in the 2024–25 season.

Leeds United’s interest in Tezgel aligns with their strategy of developing young talent. The club has a history of nurturing emerging players, and Tezgel’s skill set could be a valuable addition to their attacking options. However, Stoke City will likely be cautious about parting with such a promising talent, especially given his potential to contribute to their first team in the future.

As the transfer window approaches, it remains to be seen whether Leeds United will formalize their interest in Tezgel and whether Stoke City will be willing to negotiate a deal. For now, Tezgel’s development at Stoke and his performances on loan will be closely monitored by both clubs.
