‘Joseph exit next’ as Leeds United player agrees three-year deal with LaLiga side
Mateo Joseph appears closer than ever to finalising a transfer away from Leeds United.
The young Spanish winger made 40 appearances for Leeds during this season’s Championship-winning triumph.
However, all signs now point to him leaving Elland Road within the next few days.

Real Betis finalise one transfer, Joseph could be next
Real Betis have agreed terms with Junior Firpo, who is available on a free transfer following the expiry of his Leeds contract.
That is according to El Dia’s print edition (13 June, page 41), with the publication reporting that the LaLiga club have already agreed a three-year deal with Firpo.

Firpo is due to be out of contract at Elland Road at the end of June, meaning his move to Betis is likely to be confirmed as early as 1 July.
It could be more complicated for Betis to come back for Joseph, since there’s a significant difference in opinion about the value of the player.
Leeds are holding out for a transfer fee of £15.2m, while the Seville club want to pay significantly less.
Still, it appears as if both clubs and the player want this move to happen, so fans should expect the deal to be agreed shortly after the transfer window reopens.

Tough start to the summer transfer window for Leeds
Joseph and Firpo are both players who could have made a significant impact in the Premier League next season for Leeds.
Nevertheless, it seems that neither player will pull on the famous white jersey next season.
Daniel Farke has a job on his hands to replace both of these stars, who each played an important role in getting the club promoted.
It’s the right move to hold out for at least £15m if the club are going to sell Joseph. Joseph just scored a wondergoal for Spain Under-21s and is widely regarded as a player with an incredibly bright future.

Hopefully, Farke can invest whatever fee is generated from Joseph on several new players so the team becomes stronger as a whole.
It has been a tough start to the summer, with no confirmed signings since the transfer window opened on 1 June, before temporarily closing until next week.
Fans have no choice but to keep the faith and hope the Whites can still begin next season with a stronger squad than they ended the last one with.
