‘I know nothing’… Manager doesn’t care about sack threat as Rangers prepare for FCSB
Rangers will be hoping that the Europa League provides some respite from their current domestic woes as FCSB come to town.
Fresh from an away derby win against Dinamo Bucaresti, the Romanian outfit will be looking to maintain their 100% record in the Europa League league phase fixtures.
Philippe Clement, on the other hand, is a manager under pressure, as he looks to recover from what could have been a terminal blow in his Rangers career, if the club had a structure of executives above him.

FCSB boss not interested in Philippe Clement’s Rangers problems
A packed Ibrox will make a difference to Clement’s chances of recovery – if fans haven’t lost hope and interest – but FCSB boss Elias Charalambous is not interested in the woes of his opposite number, as reported by Digisport:
“I know nothing about the problems of the Rangers manager. We don’t know what is going on with them.
“But we do know it will be a tough test in Europe.
“We know the quality of Rangers. They are a big club and it will be much different in Glasgow where they have home advantage.
“To win this game, we will have to play top quality football.

“Psychologically, this derby victory is important. European games are different though, especially with Rangers.
“At the moment, we have games every three days and that is actually helping us.
“When we go to Glasgow, we are going all out for victory. That’s my only focus.
“But I am happy with the way the team are playing. I think the attitude and focus was good. The tactical instructions were followed and even when we were 1-0 up, we continued to press for another goal.”
FCSB win wouldn’t solve all of Clement’s problems
According to FCSB owner, Gigi Becali, the Romanian’s are going to name a weakened team with five key regulars being rested.
We will only know if this is true when the team lines are announced.
Rangers are not the same team as they have been in recent Europa League campaigns.
Bizarrely, Clement has an impressive away form record in Europe since joining Rangers which is in stark contrast to the current domestic run of scoring just one goal in four games on their travels from Ibrox.
A win against FCSB wouldn’t solve all of Clement’s 99 problems, but it would be a start.
