Graham Potter ‘attracted by massive Rangers job’
Rangers have been tipped to complete the appointment of Graham Potter should they choose to part ways with Philippe Clement.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains very well-connected within the game, insisted that the former Chelsea boss would consider the job if it was offered.
Robinson insisted that Rangers remain a “massive” draw for any manager given their status as one of the world’s most reputable clubs.
Clement has been under increasing pressure as a result of the club’s performances on the pitch, despite a convincing 4-0 win against FCSB in the Europa League.
His ide sit six points behind both Celtic and Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership and were knocked out of Champions League qualifying in the first round.
That, combined with a style of play which has left the Ibrox crowd frustrated and restless, has led to increasing speculation that he could be let go.
Potter, meanwhile, remains out of a job since his departure from Stamford Bridge in 2023.
Graham Potter would jump at accepting Rangers offer
As a result of the growing pressure, a number of managers across the game have been put forward to take over the role, including the likes of Potter.

The former Chelsea boss would be an ambitious move for Rangers, but one Robinson thinks would not be beyond the realms of imagination.
“We’re talking about Glasgow Rangers,” he told Football Insider.
“They’re one of the biggest and most well-known teams in world football. The following that they’ve got, the stadium they’ve got and the support they’ve got.
“Rangers and Celtic, regardless of the SPFL, are a huge draw all over the world.
“Absolutely, Rangers can attract a top name.
“Graham Potter is out of work, those are the type of managers they want to look at.
Rangers
“Rangers Football Club is a massive attraction for a manager to take over.
“Managers don’t pick up jobs while teams are doing well. Going into Rangers now with the task to turn them around wouldn’t take a lot.
“There’s absolutely no doubt they can attract a big name like Potter, and he would be attracted by such a huge job.”
