There could be a potential return to the Premier League for ex-Liverpool utility man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as Leeds United ponder making an offer for the recently-released former Besiktas star.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was released by Besiktas earlier in the summer after he was frozen out of the team’s plans by former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The ex-Liverpool utility man is now available on a free transfer, as teams like Leicester City were showing an interest earlier.There are indeed some Championship sides interested, with Birmingham City one of those. The prospect of returning to England will tempt the midfielder, and there could be a few offers on the table despite the summer window closing earlier on Monday.
