Barry Ferguson has hit back at Brendan Rodgers’ rebuke over criticism of Russell Martin and told him he has enough problems at Celtic to worry about.Rodgers leapt to the defence of rival boss Martin, who has come under heavy fire after slipping to tenth in the table and nine points behind Celtic and Hearts following last Saturday’s home defeat to the Jambos.The Ibrox hierarchy insist they are sticking by their man for now, although there are fan protests planned for before this weekend’s Premier Sports Cup quarter-final with Hibs.Rodgers took issue with the criticism of Martin and seemed to indirectly call out Ferguson after his caretaker spell in the dugout last term before Martin was appointed.
But Record Sport columnist Ferguson has come out swinging in defence of himself and members of his coaching staff who have since returned to their puditry gigs.
