Daniel Farke receives welcome overnight boost as Leeds United star handed limited international cameo
Daniel Farke has just one more day of keeping his fingers crossed that all of his Leeds United squad return from international duty with a clean bill of health.
Leeds are once again the Championship side with the most players away with their respective countries, though Farke will be relieved they are not back in action until Sunday.
So far, Joe Rodon is the only Leeds player to have suffered an injury scare following a clash of heads in Wales’ 0-0 draw at Turkey.
That said, it is not the first time Rodon has picked up an issue like this during a match in his career, and so he played on without any issues.
Ao Tanaka, Wilfried Gnonto, Mateo Joseph, Joe Rodon, Karl Darlow, Dan James, Charlie Crew and Junior Firpo make up the rest of the Leeds internationals playing today.

How Leeds star Brenden Aaronson fared for USA
Farke will have been worried over the weekend when he saw Brenden Aaronson missing completely from USA’s squad to face Jamaica.
However, thankfully Aaronson’s absence was purely down to illness, and so the Leeds star was back in the squad for the return fixture during the early hours of this morning.
During the last international break, Aaronson played the full 90 minutes of USA’s defeat in Mexico just a matter of hours before Leeds were back in action against Sheffield United.

His involvement has been significantly less this time around, though, as he played just the final 20 minutes off the bench of USA’s 4-2 win over Jamaica.
The result means USA progress through to the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League, following a 1-0 first leg win away from home.
With a decent amount of time for him to travel back to Leeds and recover ahead of Sunday, Farke will be relieved at how little he has played, considering how much effort he puts in every single match.

US media praise Aaronson for short cameo
Aaronson replaced USA’s star player Cristian Pulisic when he was brought off the bench, all be it with the tie all but over.
Having said that, Aaronson did come on at a potentially tough part of the game for USA, as Jamaica had just pulled a goal back to make it 4-2 on the night.
GOAL were full of praise for Aaronson’s cameo, though, suggesting he helped fill the void left by Pulisic when he entered the field.
They wrote: “Aaronson – 7/10. Tidy on the ball as he drove forward from that No. 10 spot. Kept the ball moving and kept the U.S. dangerous even without Pulisic on the field.”
