Chris Sutton has revealed that he wants to hear from Paul Tisdale at at Celtic AGM.
Last month the club took the decision to appoint a Head of Football Operations with the former Exeter City manager the left field appointment.
Nothing has been heard from Tisdale beyond the statement announcing his appointment, not even an interview with Celtic TV.

Recruitment is the main remit of the new appointment but he will also be involved with the Academy in a bid to restart the internal flow of players into the first team squad.
AGM’S don’t tend to throw up much excitement, especially when results are strong on and off the pitch but beyond the standard comments from the Chairman and CEO there is someone that Sutton wants to hear from.
He told The Daily Record:
For me, I wouldn’t bet on it happening, but it would be nice to hear from the new head of operations though. Paul Tisdale is the self-proclaimed football doctor and it will be good to find out his prognosis for the club. I’ve said on these pages before, I think it’s a positive appointment. People in the game speak very highly of Tisdale and he’s someone with a reputation for thinking outside the box.
He’s been in the door officially for a good few weeks now and he was unofficially part of the summer recruitment drive. I’d like to know what the plan is for January and beyond as far as he is concerned.
The Celtic squad is in strong shape but there is always opportunity to build and progress.
You look at the situation at left back with Greg Taylor heading out of contract and Alex Valle on loan until the end of the season. Do Brendan Rodgers and Tisdale step up and recruit a new one in the next window? Are there deals to be done with either – or both?
Planning for the January window should already be at an advanced stage, the Celtic squad now needs tinkering rather than wholesale changes.
The summer dealings raised the benchmark with Tisdale, Brendan Rodgers and the Board of Directors expected to build on the momentum created.

I’d love to think that Brendan Rodgers and Paul Tisdale will build a great relationship and take us forward from a position of strength for once rather than see more of the same from that twat Lawwell. We’re in about the strongest position we’ve ever been and with good judgement and a wee rub of the green for the two above we can become that team our supporters deserve. Consistently. We’ve pretty much proven ourselves domestically so it’s evident that success in Europe, and we’ve already had some this year, must be our target. Some of our football has been an absolute joy to watch and we can build on that. Bringing in young talent and arranging loan deals with other SPL teams for the player’s development would, IMO, be a great move, maybe starting with Lennon Miller. Liam Scales came on hugely when he spent a season with the sheep
I know virtually nothing about Paul Tisdale but he seems well respected in the game. Brendan is definitely a top, top manager so let’s hope these two gel and bring us even more success. Our global supporter base is already huge but with some current success in Europe you’ll see our colours in every town and city on the planet, even more so than now!

Just where have you been? Are you living under a rock?
We’ve dominated for years! We’ve dominated for years DESPITE the best and strongest efforts of a still very corrupt SFA and SPFL to stop the train!
We have moved forward every year! You have to accept tgat we will NEVER AGAIN be Champions of Europe!
We are cash rich, but we simply can’t throw money away and end up extinct like another Glasgow club did a mere twelve years ago! Let’s not forget, while the SFA/SPFL have bent over backwards for the old extinct club AND their tribute act, we would NEVER be afforded that same luxury! We would be treated even more shamefully than the way Dumbarton and Inverness Caley are being treated today! Notice how little SFA support they get? We’d get less! Face facts! We are named officially the best run club in Britain for a reason! Even if it isn’t by Scottish media!
