Cameron Carter-Vickers Shares Champions League Confidence
Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has expressed confidence in the Hoops’ ability to take on any opponent at Celtic Park as they prepare for their Champions League clash against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

With the Parkhead atmosphere backing them, the American international believes his team can compete at the highest level and continue their European journey.
When asked if Celtic feel they can beat anyone on home turf during these big Champions League nights, Carter-Vickers replied: “We’re definitely confident, and I think our performances have shown that we can compete at a high level. It’s just about doing that consistently now.”
Celtic’s clash with Club Brugge represents another opportunity to build on their recent European form. With four league-stage games left, the target of reaching 10 points—and potentially going beyond—is now firmly in sight.
Club Brugge, however, bring significant Champions League experience and will pose a tough challenge. Celtic will need to be at their best to maintain their unbeaten home record in this season’s competition.
A key factor in Celtic’s recent success has been the growing defensive partnership between Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty. The duo have steadily developed a strong understanding, anchoring a backline that has grown in confidence with each match.
