Rangers XI: How Philippe Clement could line up – No Yilmaz, ‘Barron 2.0’ signed
Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen could enter into the transfer market this month to solve several problems at Rangers.
The Gers are already 16 points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table, but with Europa League football still being played at Ibrox, new additions could be important before 3 February.
Clement has been struck by numerous injuries, and while that is no excuse for some of the team’s recent results, some fans do have sympathy for the manager due to these setbacks.
This is how Rangers could line up once the winter transfer window slams shut.

Jack Butland could finally come back into the starting lineup, having been sidelined since late December after being rushed to hospital with internal bleeding in his legs.
The Gers have leaked goals in recent weeks, with injuries to James Tavernier, John Souttar, Dujon Sterling, Leon Balogun and Neraysho Kasanwirjo leaving Clement with limited options.
Robin Propper has really stepped up recently but he could have a new partner next month, with Ibrox News understanding the Gers are interested in Cavalier FC centre-back Richard King.
While Jefte is unlikely to be replaced during the winter transfer window, Bamo Meite could be the man to replace Ridvan Yilmaz who has been linked with an exit before 3 February.

Rangers are readying a loan deal for the Marseille defender, as per Saber Desfarges, while Ibrox News understands Yilmaz’s exit is a priority, looking to receive up to £4.9million.
Clement’s selection of midfielders is now stacked to the rafters, but this has not stopped the Light Blues from targeting another young Scottish talent in Dundee’s Lyall Cameron.
According to the Scottish Daily Mail, the 22-year-old could arrive at Ibrox this month rather than join on a pre-contract agreement, with the gem yet to sign an extension at Dens Park.
The move would be rather similar to Connor Barron’s move from Aberdeen, making him much like a 2.0 version.
With Nico Raskin taking on captain duties, there is no desperate need to replace the Belgian, and scoring goals is certainly not the issue at Ibrox.
That is exactly why the front quartet of Ianis Hagi, Nedim Bajrami, Vaclav Cerny and Hamza Igamane will likely be in the starting lineup for the second half of the campaign.
