Newcastle United might not watch Tino Livramento don their black and white stripes once again.The Magpies won’t have Livramento for their upcoming trip to Arsenal as facing a setback after being forced off during the Bournemouth defeat with a thigh problem, according to The Daily Mail’s Craig Hope.
Livramento will require a second scan to determine the full extent of the injury, with concerns growing over whether he will feature again this season.
With such a cloudy situation, the best-case scenario points toward a possible return in the final matches of the season, or not at all.If the latter is the case, and although his recovery is still expected to be completed before England’s World Cup preparations begin in June, he might have played his last game as a Magpie.
According to Football Insider, Manchester City is working hard to try and close a deal for the Newcastle defender as soon as possible, even more now that the Magpies are bound to whiff on clinching any sort of continental football
