Newcastle United have already been knocked back by the agent of Saïd El Mala, who also happens to be his mother. The Magpies have been keeping track of the 19-year-old winger for a while and even went as far as making contact over a potential move in the summer.Brighton remain in the frame for the FC Köln winger, but now it’s reportedly Brentford who lead the race as they are willing to offer €50 million (£43 million) for his services. However, the report goes on to suggest that Newcastle feel that they still have a chance in the race for El Mala despite the previous rejection.
Apparently, Saïd El Mala and his mother have changed their minds several times in recent weeks over what would be the best next move, and that’s given Newcastle some encouragement.
