Leeds United told they should sign £20m star instead of Manor Solomon
Leeds United are already planning for promotion to the Premier League and bringing in the players they will need to survive in England’s top tier – with a German winger now on the Elland Road list.
Leeds are running away with the Championship after comeback wins against Sunderland and Sheffield United. Five points clear of Sheffield United, Leeds have opened up a gap of seven points to Burnley.
The Whites are well-positioned going into the final 12 games of the season, with four to be played before the March international break. They face West Brom on Saturday, before Portsmouth, Millwall and QPR.
Promotion looks an inevitability but survival is another question. Currently, the three promoted sides sit in the Premier League’s bottom three, three sides that beat Leeds to promotion during the 23-24 season.

Carlton Palmer says Leeds should sign Nicolas Kuhn this summer
Leeds have been told that Manor Solomon will cost between £10m and £15m, with Tottenham likely to be open to the winger’s sale. Solomon has starred for Leeds, getting better every week after a long injury.
But he is not the only one on the Leeds shortlist come the summer. Leeds are also being linked with Celtic star Nicolas Kuhn and Carlton Palmer told FLW that he thinks Leeds should sign Kuhn over Solomon.
“Celtic have shown their quality in the Champions League, Especially Kuhn, who has been outstanding. It would take a huge fee to get him out of Celtic. Farke is looking for a frontrunner who can run in behind.
“He has got pace and he is a direct runner in wide areas, but I suppose it is going to be one or the other with Manor Solomon or Kuhn. Solomon is on loan and they have stated he would be worth £10-15m.
“You would have to make that £15-20m for Kuhn. You have to weigh up who you think is going to be the better fit. For me, he [Kuhn] looks like someone who could handle the Premier League quite comfortably.”
Comparing Nicolas Kuhn and Manor Solomon’s careers so far
Solomon is a proven Premier League player having starred with Fulham while on loan and earning himself a move to Tottenham. Kuhn is also 25, excelling at Celtic and showing quality in the Champions League.
Solomon has experienced the top level on a more-consistent basis. He is perhaps more-suited and given he would be cheaper than Kuhn judging by Palmer’s comments and is part of the Leeds side, he is best.
But, Kuhn would be an excellent signing judging by his form for Celtic both domestically and in Europe. Both are similar types of players, able to play on both flank, create and score with plenty of speed.
