For Rangers specifically, Bowie would be a smart investment: young, hungry, and with potential resale value. He isn’t yet an elite goalscorer, and that’s the key caveat — he still needs consistency to become a match-winning No.9 week in, week out. If Rangers believe they can develop him further — especially with a tactical system that gives him regular service — he could grow into a very good striker for the club.
So yes — I would take him, but with the understanding he’s a project with upside, not an instant superstar. He fits Rangers’ long-term needs if the price (around £6.5 m) is right and the club supports his development.
