Leeds United have been linked with a summer move for Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn. A Football Insider report states the Whites are long-time admirers of the Scotland international.
Gunn, capped 15 times by his country, is due to become a free agent this summer. He has yet to be offered a contract extension by the Canaries.The 29-year-old has clocked up 33 Championship appearances for City this season, conceding 40 goals and keeping seven clean sheets. The experienced shot-stopper, who started his career at Manchester City, had stints at Southampton and Stoke City (loan) before returning to his boyhood club Norwich in a reported £5m deal back in June 2021.With Illan Meslier having struggled for form, which saw him lose his place to Karl Darlow earlier this month, the goalkeeping department is an area the Whites are expected to revamp in the summer. A new shot-stopper is thought to be a priority regardless of whether they achieve promotion or remain in the Championship next season. Football Insider claim United view Gunn as a potential No 1 or able deputy.
