BBC ANNOUNCEMENT: Rangers Announce Signing Of Kim Shin Ji On Loan From AS Roma.

The midfielder becomes Head Coach Leanne Crichton’s first signing of the summer transfer window and makes the switch from the Italian side to bolster the Gers squad for the 2025/26 season.

At 21 years of age, she made the move to the Serie A side at the start of the year in a deal until 2027, as the club finished third in the country’s top division.

 

She joined the Italian side from GB Uiduk University in her homeland and has featured for her country’s youth teams, playing at the Under-20 World Cup and helping her side to the Round of 16 stage and the Under-20 Asian Cup, finishing third. In 2024 she received her first call-up for the senior South Korea squad.Kim Shin Ji becomes the third arrival at the club this summer following the permanent signings of Fallon Connolly-Jackson and Alice Griffiths and now will go into the squad ahead of their Ibrox fixture against Hearts this weekend.
