BBC REPORT NEWS: LEEDs united have Agreed £22 million to sign Everton striker Beto this summer.

Leeds United are reportedly preparing a formal offer to sign Everton striker Beto, with the proposed fee estimated between £20 million and £22 million. The Guinea‑Bissau international, who joined Everton from Udinese in August 2023 for around £25.8 million, has had a mixed spell at Goodison Park, tallying 11 league goals in 60 appearances. Tensions have risen of late, with reports of a pre‑season fallout between Beto and manager David Moyes, citing issues over his attitude and adherence to team methods .

Everton is understood to be open to a summer exit for Beto, partly in order to recoup some of the initial transfer outlay, although they would prefer to secure closer to the original fee of approximately £25 million .

Meanwhile, Leeds have already bolstered their attacking options by signing Dominic Calvert‑Lewin on a free transfer, yet remain keen to reinforce ahead of the new Premier League season .

A successful deal could see Beto take on a fresh challenge in West Yorkshire, although Everton will likely ensure they have a replacement lined up before sanctioning any departure.
