BBC REPORT NEWS West Ham United are interested in signing Ademola Lookman as a replacement for Mohammed Kudus.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman as a potential replacement for Mohammed Kudus, who is attracting attention from top European clubs this summer. Kudus enjoyed an impressive debut season with the Hammers, but his future at the London Stadium appears uncertain amid rising transfer speculation.

In response, West Ham have turned their attention to Lookman, who has emerged as one of Serie A’s standout attackers with Atalanta. The 26-year-old played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph and has been lauded for his pace, dribbling ability, and eye for goal. His versatility and Premier League experience—having previously played for Everton, Fulham, and Leicester—make him a strong candidate to fill Kudus’ boots.

Sources close to the club suggest that preliminary talks have begun, with West Ham hoping to convince Lookman to return to English football. A transfer fee in the region of £25–30 million could be required to secure his services.

If successful, the move would represent a bold statement by West Ham as they aim to build on their European ambitions and solidify their attacking options ahead of the 2025/26 ca

mpaign.
