TRANSFER TARGET:Nottingham Forest are reportedly targeting former Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira, who has been capped by Brazil, as part of their summer transfer plans.

The club is said to be plotting a bid for the Fulham playmaker, who has impressed in the Premier League since leaving Old Trafford in 2017. Pereira has established himself as one of the league’s top number 10s, contributing significantly to Fulham’s midfield with three goals and nine assists across all competitions last season .

Fulham are reportedly seeking around £35 million for Pereira, who has previously attracted interest from clubs like Chelsea and Juventus. Nottingham Forest’s interest underscores their ambition to strengthen their squad, especially with the potential for European competition next season. Pereira’s experience in the Premier League and his international experience with Brazil make him a valuable addition to Forest’s midfield options.

The move would also see Pereira return to the Premier League, where he previously played for Manchester United before making a permanent switch to Fulham. His potential arrival at Nottingham Forest would add depth and creativity to their midfield, aligning with the club’s goals for the upcoming season.
