“Rangers-Linked International Seals Move After Gers Make Shock Transfer Swoop!”
Rangers fans have had a thing for former players in recent transfer windows and we barely make it through one without a mention of someone signed under Steven Gerrard.
Rangers fans have gotten used to conversations on social media about the glorified return of players who didn’t deliver the consistent success the club craves when they were at Ibrox.
But whilst Ryan Kent looks set to move to Iran, another of the ‘gets better the longer he doesn’t play for Rangers’ club has agreed a permanent deal elsewhereq

Rangers linked to Nikola Katic
As injury enveloped the Rangers defence over the festive period, the name Nikola Katic started doing the rounds in the tabloids.
Daily Record journalist Keith Jackson claimed Rangers had ‘made contact’ over Katic amid injuries to John Souttar, Leon Balogun, Dujon Sterling and James Tavernier.
With Katic being told he could leave FC Zurich, sources close to the defender even leaked his interest in coming back to Ibrox.
It’s not the first time the Gers have been linked to a move either.
Craig Moore claims Rangers turned down the chance to re-sign Nikola Katic in the summer.

Having gone on loan to Hajduk Split in the summer of 2021, the defender joined FC Zurich in Switzerland a year later and the 28-year-old has been there ever since.
But whilst we could’ve used the towering 6ft4 defender between December and January, all that chatter about a return has officially been silenced.
Nikola Katic moves to Plymouth Argyle
That’s because Nikola Katic has officially signed a loan deal with Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season.
The Bosnian international will link up Bosnian manager Miron Muslic as he looks to stave off Championship relegation with the Pilgrims this season.
Welcome to Argyle, Nikola Katic! 💚
The Bosnian international defender signs on loan until the end of the season.
Muslic claims that Katic really showed Plymouth Argyle that he wanted to play for the club with the coach hailing the centre-back’s ‘excellent pedigree’.
”Nikola joins us with excellent pedigree having represented his country and played European football,” Muslic told Plymouth.
“He will add further height and defensive strength to our options but most of all showed a real desire to be a part of Argyle for the rest of the season.
“I have said before that I want players in the squad who want to be here, and Nikola showed exactly that.
“I’m really happy he has joined us and want to welcome him to Argyle.”
Rangers opted instead to sign Rafael Fernandes on loan from Lille this January and one pundit is hearing that the Gers have unearthed a gem in the Portuguese defender.
