The forward suffered a challenging week after questions over his conduct arose when a video was shared on social media of him enjoying a night out.
Footage shared widely on X, formerly Twitter, showed Idah out on Wednesday night with suggestions the forward was sick in a taxi, something Brendan Rodgers has disputed.
Idah was backed by his manager ahead of the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden as Rodgers blasted those filming footballers.
And the striker repaid the faith from the manager as he scored in the thumping victory for Celtic.
After scoring, Idah then appeared to gesture to supporters and acknowledge their support after the challenging period in the last few days.
As he wheeled away, Idah held one hand on his chest and raised one arm to supporters before then offering a double thumbs up towards supporters inside the national stadium.
Idah had been out on Wednesday evening when Celtic players had free time with the squad given Thursday off during the week.
Rodgers had backed Idah ahead of the semi-final stating: “Yes, I haven’t seen anything, of course. But Adam rang me yesterday to take me through everything that happened. I spoke to him again this morning.
“Yes, there’s a sadness to it. He knows where I am in terms of, and the group knows where I’m at in terms of focus and mentality. But this was on a day off.
“I think the sad thing for me is that a 24-year-old football player, who in his spare time can’t let his hair down without someone trying to film him. I think this is the challenge now for people in general, but in particular if you’re a young football player,
