WELCOME:Kieran Tierney has expressed a strong emotional connection to Celtic, his boyhood club, and has not ruled out a return in the future.

Speaking to The Athletic, he described his time at Celtic as “the ultimate,” emphasizing that playing for the club was a dream come true. However, he also acknowledged that he left to challenge himself in the Premier League and to test his abilities against the best. Tierney stated that if he were to return, he would want to be in top physical condition to meet the club’s high standards .

Currently, Tierney is on loan at Real Sociedad from Arsenal, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2024. Reports suggest that Celtic is interested in bringing him back, and manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the club is exploring the possibility of re-signing the defender . However, Tierney’s high wages and injury history may pose challenges to a potential move.

Despite these obstacles, Tierney’s deep-rooted affection for Celtic and his desire to return when physically ready indicate that a move back to Parkhead could be a possibility in the future.
