The 2-0 loss to AS Roma, which has created a new unwanted record for the Ibrox club, was set against a backdrop of more loud protesting against Kevin Thelwell, the club’s sporting director, and Patrick Stewart, the chief executive.Both saw their images superimposed on sniper targets on banners in the ground that were eventually removed by stewards.With AS Roma having taken a two-goal in the first half, the fans had plenty of time to turn their attention to the club’s hierarchy. Chairman Andrew Cavenagh also present again as he continues to work out what to do about the level of acrimony that has not been assuaged by unpopular manager Russell Martin’s departure.
