
The 27-year-old has been a mainstay in Daniel Farke’s side over the last two seasons and was a key figure in helping the Whites to secure promotion as champions, back to the Premier League.
James was voted by supporters as the club’s Player of the Season for the 2024/25 campaign after an impressive year, ending with 12 goals and nine assists from 36 matches played. His scintillating pace and work-rate were key factors in helping the team in both attack and defence, showing desire to not only be creative in forward areas, but demonstrating the side before self mantra when required at the back as well.
Since joining the club in 2021, the attacker has made 123 appearances for the Whites, registering 51 direct goal involvements as well as making countless other important contributions both on and off the pitch.
