Leeds United are pushing hard to seal the transfer of Habib Diarra. The Senegalese midfielder has been a key target during this summer’s transfer window, with the Whites already struggling in negotiations with RC Strasbourg. However, the 49ers Enterprises may be ready to go again to sign Diarra after confirming the arrivals of Jaka Bijol and Lukas Nmecha at Elland Road.An initial offer of around £21million has supposedly already been rejected for Diarra.
However, Africafoot has now reported that Leeds have submitted a second bid worth an estimated £23.8m, as they continue to push for the midfielder.A three-year contract is supposedly on the table for the 21-year-old if he is interested in leaving the French club for West Yorkshire this summer. He showed his potential earlier in June when he starred in Senegal’s 3-1 victory against England at the City Ground in Nottingham.
Diarra ran the show against an England midfield featuring Declan Rice and Conor Gallagher, and he scored Senegal’s second goal.
