Leeds United have been urged to steer clear of Steven Gerrard as a possible successor to boss Daniel Farke.
The Whites were in relentless form, sweeping aside promotion hopefuls Bristol City 4-0 on Monday night, with Farke leading the way from the dugout. His exploits in steering Leeds to automatic promotion has seen his stock rise among the club’s supporters after falling agonisingly short in last season’s Championship play-off final.
However, reports suggest that Farke is yet to receive the seal of approval from everyone at Elland Road, namely the club’s owners 49ers Enterprises consortium.
Fans have since given their backing to the German with many believing he deserves the opportunity to manage the club among the elite next term.
