HERE WE GO:”Leeds United FC Completes Full Ownership Transition to 49ers Enterprises, Eyes New Investment Opportunities”

Leeds United Football Club underwent a significant ownership change in July 2023 when 49ers Enterprises, the investment group behind the San Francisco 49ers NFL team, acquired full control of the club. This transition followed Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League in May 2023. Andrea Radrizzani, who had been the majority owner since 2017, sold his 56% stake to 49ers Enterprises, which had previously held a 44% share.

Since the takeover, 49ers Enterprises has been actively involved in the club’s operations. In November 2023, they sold a minority stake to Seattle-based private equity firm Ackerley Partners, aiming to secure additional investment for the club’s growth.

As of February 2025, there are no reports indicating that Leeds United is considering another sale or ownership change. The club continues to operate under the ownership of 49ers Enterprises, with ongoing efforts to strengthen its position in English football.
