Hull City are heading for a hugely important summer transfer window, regardless of whether they’re plying their trade in the Championship, or League One next season.
The Tigers are fighting for their lives at the foot of the Championship, as Ruben Selles looks to keep the club in the second tier before building towards a brighter future.Despite some excellent recruitment last season, Hull just fell short of achieving a play-off finish by three points, and their inability to replicate those levels of transfer success this season – particularly in the winter window – has been one of the reasons for their struggles this term.
As such, City are set for a critically important summer in the market, either to equip themselves for a League One promotion push, or to ensure they are scrapping at the other end of the Championship table next season.
