TRANSFER NEWS: Jack Grealish has been linked with a potential move to Newcastle United.

Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is reportedly open to a summer move to Newcastle United as he seeks to rejuvenate his career. The 29-year-old has struggled for form and playing time under Pep Guardiola, making only 14 starts this season and missing out on England’s latest squad selection.

Newcastle, aiming to bolster their attacking options following Miguel Almiron’s departure, have been offered Grealish’s services. Sources suggest that Grealish believes working under Eddie Howe could help him rediscover his best form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Financial considerations pose a challenge; Grealish earns £300,000 per week at City, and even a proposed 33% pay cut would make him Newcastle’s highest earner. Additionally, Newcastle have been cautious in recent transfer windows to comply with Premier League financial regulations.

While Manchester City are reportedly open to selling Grealish for a fraction of the £100 million they paid in 2021, Newcastle’s official stance remains uncertain. Manager Eddie Howe has previously indicated that the club is focusing on existing fixtures rather than incoming transfers.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Grealish’s potential move to St James’ Park remains a developing story, contingent on financial negotiations and squad planning.
