TRANSFER NEWS: Callum Wilson has reportedly signed a four-year contract with Leeds United as a free agent.

The 33-year-old striker, formerly of Newcastle United, was out of contract and has been struggling with injuries, making only 16 Premier League appearances this season, with just one start .

Leeds United, newly promoted to the Premier League after securing the Championship title with 100 points, are seeking to strengthen their attack to avoid immediate relegation. Despite Joel Piroe’s 19 goals and winning the Championship golden boot, Leeds recognize the need for more firepower, making Wilson a potential signing to support their top-flight ambitions .

Wilson has earned nine England caps, with his latest international appearance in 2023 against Scotland . His experience and goal-scoring ability could prove valuable for Leeds United in their upcoming Premier League campaign.
