Leeds United have completed the signing of Portuguese midfield sensation Mateus Fernandes in a deal worth £30 million, marking a major statement of intent ahead of the new season.
The 20-year-old rising star arrives from Sporting CP after weeks of speculation, finally putting pen to paper at Elland Road. Fernandes, known for his sharp vision, composure under pressure, and versatility across the midfield, is expected to play a central role in Daniel Farke’s Premier League push.
