DEAL CONFIRMED: Leeds united have announced the arrival of Lukas Nmecha from Wolfsburg.

The Leeds boss has been trying to sign an attacking midfielder since last summer. But moves for Gus Hamer failed. Brenden Aaronson took up the role this past season, but his performances have not been convincing.

Now, the Whites have once again been linked with a move for Aston Villa’s Emi Buendia. Farke tried to sign the Argentine in January, but a move never materialized. According to Caught Offside, Villa are now open to selling him.Villa News spoke to Martin Allen, who spoke about how much the club would sell Buendia for:

“It goes without saying that Villa have got to get the maximum fee out of him, as they do in every dealHe’s done well, so they’ve got to try and work with that.

“I think if they get £20m for him, they’ll be really happy, but they’ll try and push towards £30m.

“It would definitely be a good signing for Leeds because it’s so hard to score goals coming up to the Premier League.
