BREAKING NEWS:Leeds United have confirmed that young forwards Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani will spend the season on loan in La Liga, with the club hopeful both players can gain valuable top-flight experience in Spain.

Joseph, a highly-rated striker who has shown glimpses of his talent at Elland Road, will look to continue his development against elite opposition, while Ramazani — who arrived at Leeds this summer — has also been given the chance to prove himself in Spain’s top division.

The club’s hierarchy believe both players can return stronger, either to play a direct role in Leeds’ long-term project or to increase their value for future moves. Early signs are mixed: Ramazani registered an assist on his Valencia debut but was powerless to prevent their 6-0 defeat to Barcelona at the weekend, while Joseph is still adapting to life in Spanish football.

Leeds fans will be keeping a close eye on the duo’s progress, with the loans seen as a key part of the club’s strategy to develop young talent and balance the squad ahead of future campaigns.
