Everton hope to complete a £15million transfer for Manor Solomon, but increasing interest in the Tottenham forward could affect a potential deal.

 

Solomon could move to Goodison Park, as Spurs are open to letting the 25-year-old leave in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham could increase their asking price for Solomon as several teams have joined the race to sign him, according to GiveMeSport.

Moyes should not focus on Solomon transfer

Iliman Ndiaye has lit up Goodison Park this season after putting in some impressive displays since his move from Olympique Marseille.

 

The Senegal international has been the talisman at the Toffees this season, making the left-hand side of the attack his own.

 

With Ndiaye already in the squad, it would be difficult for any other forward to replace him in the starting lineup.

 

Moyes would need to convince Solomon not just with a better financial package but also by potentially giving him guarantees about his role in the team.

 

While the 25-year-old has done well at Leeds, the Premier League is a different kettle of fish, and he has already struggled to make a mark at Tottenham.

 

The winger caught a lot of people’s attention with his performances at Fulham during the 2022/23 campaign, but injuries have hampered his development.

 

It would seemingly be wise for the Blues to focus on other areas of the pitch that need strengthening rather than getting someone to compete for Ndiaye’s spot.
