Manor Solomon’s transfer preference finally revealed as Leeds United star drops tempting hint
Manor Solomon put in a solid display as Leeds United put three points on the board on Wednesday night, reclaiming their spot at the top of the table.
On Wednesday night, Leeds United beat Millwall 2-0 to break their 2024/25 curse against the Lions, having been beaten by them twice in the campaign before Wednesday’s win at Elland Road.

An own goal after three minutes put Leeds ahead. Ao Tanaka then sealed the win late on as Leeds return to the top of the Championship table, after their 1-0 defeat at Portsmouth last weekend allowed Sheffield United the chance to leapfrog Leeds, only briefly.
Manor Solomon had a decent showing against Millwall. The Israeli hasn’t scored or assisted in five and some Leeds United fans have been critical of Solomon of late, with the Spurs loan man having looked in need of a rest.
But that’s not stopped transfer interest from growing: recent reports have revealed that Southampton are keen on Solomon, with Everton long-term admirers now as well.

Manor Solomon’s transfer preference revealed amid Leeds United transfer battle
Leeds United are open to exploring the possibility of signing Solomon permanently in the summer, although right now the focus is on earning promotion. But an emerging report from TeamTalk will be of great interest to the 49ers.
They write that Everton have been tracking Solomon since December and that there’s also interest from Turkey and Italy. On top of that, it’s claimed that Spurs would actually want a fee close to £20million for Solomon, not the £15million that’s been most reported.
But in good news for Leeds, and unfortunately for the likes of Everton, Southampton and Leicester City too, who’ve also taken an interest, Solomon’s preference is to stay in England beyond this season.

Manor Solomon drops possible hint on Leeds United future after Millwall win
Speaking to LUTV after the win against Millwall, Solomon may have dropped a rather unsubtle hint on how he feels about potentially staying with Leeds United beyond this season.
He spoke of his admiration for Elland Road and the Leeds fans, suggesting that he’s very happy playing for the club right now.
Solomon said: “Playing in Elland Road has been really amazing for me. I like the atmosphere here, I like the fans, especially when we are winning. We feel this push from the fans here at Elland Road and even away, with our fans. So it’s really special to play here.”
In 30 Championship games this season, Solomon has seven goals and eight assists, having proved to be a very worthwhile loan signing from Spurs. But what the future holds for the 25-year-old remains to be seen.
