Ty Haywood, a 5-star offensive lineman from Denton, Texas, has committed to the University of Michigan, marking a significant addition to the Wolverines’ 2025 recruiting class.

Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 285 pounds, Haywood is renowned for his exceptional skills and versatility on the offensive line.

Initially committed to the University of Alabama since July 2024, Haywood decommitted on January 13, 2025, citing personal reasons for his decision. He expressed deep respect for both programs but felt that Michigan was the right fit for him at this stage in his life.
