TRANSFER NEWS: Newcastle United right-back Tino Livramento has reportedly Rejected an offer from Manchester City worth over £300 per week.

Despite City’s search for a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker, Livramento remains focused on his development at Newcastle.

Since joining from Southampton in 2023 for a reported £32 million, Livramento has become a key player under manager Eddie Howe, making over 60 appearances and earning his first England cap in 2024 . He has described Newcastle as “the best place” for his growth, highlighting the club’s atmosphere, supporters, and coaching staff .

Manager Eddie Howe has expressed frustration over ongoing transfer speculation, stating, “We want to make our team and squad stronger for the future rather than lose our best players” . While financial considerations related to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules could impact Newcastle’s transfer decisions, there is currently no indication that Livramento will be leaving the club .

With his contract running until 2028, Livramento’s decision to stay is a significant boost for Newcastle as they aim to solidify their position in the Premier League and pursue European competition.
